„Court Kept” by Eden O'Neill

BLURB

The black hole has sucked me in... and I don't want to get out.

Ramses plan is dark. It can GET dark but not only am I here for it I'm so ready. It's time to bring some justice in this town. It's time to open some f*cking doors and be a voice for someone who didn't have one. My sister Paige didn't get to tell her story. What happened to her was covered up and I'm going to prove that. My only obstacle is Royal Prinze, the one person who's plagued me since I got to this seriously messed up town. He's goading me to see things aren't what they seem. He's goading me to see his truth but I won't be kept.

He's kept me for too long already.

MY OPINION

Actually… what the f*ck?

I started “Court Kept” immediately after finishing the second installment of the “Court High” series because I thought I would finally get some answers.
But no.
Now I have even more questions.

Eden O’Neill, I found your books completely by accident, but you have me as your fan forever.
In these three books that I’ve already read, I found everything I needed — a secret society, interesting heroes, and one huge mystery.

The third book in the series pulled me in completely. I kept reading and reading until I finished it, and then I immediately downloaded the next book with the positive thought that I still had two more books left in the series. Don’t even ask me about the look on my face when I realized there is only one book left to finish this story.
Why?!

The plot in “Court Kept” turns 180 degrees. Now Royal is no longer on top — Ramses, from the previous book, takes that position. He and December join forces to uncover the truth about December’s sister and to take revenge on the families that run Marywood Heights.
But the Court has different plans, and in the end nobody is playing fair.

The cliffhanger in this book absolutely killed me. Right now I’m just happy that book number four is already published, because I can’t even imagine the torture of waiting for the conclusion after THAT ending.

Ramses wasn’t my favorite character in the previous book, but now he definitely got a promotion. He’s actually a really good guy — sadly, he might not be enough. Or maybe… he was simply too late to catch December’s heart.

“Court Kept” was a really captivating read. I can’t wait to start the final part of the “Court High” series (which I will do the moment I finish writing this review). This series is full of plot twists that shocked me again and again while reading.

Eden O’Neill — you better be good to them in the last book!
