First I saw the cover, second I decided to read this book. And this was a really good idea!

Story of Caecelia and King Xenocrates is addicting. We are meeting this girl while the barbarians from Pretus are killing people of her country and her parents. Ceacelia is taken, as a captive to Xenocrates tent, but she is a rebel and first ocassion to run is her. Unfortunately without sucess.
She is forced to be with King Xenocrates, but even a Queen title isn't in her interest. She just wants to be free.
But the time is running and Ceacelia is starting to dicover the truth about her true origin and family. Nothing in her life was real.
Will Ceacelia learn how to love the enemy kingdom King Xenocrates?
When I started this story I was in it, from the beginning. This was a nice reading. I didn't expect that kind of book, neither that I will read it so fast that, when I saw the epilogue I was so sad that this is the end!
„Embracing his Empire” is a short story, but the balance between plot and spicy scenes is in perfect level. In this short story I found everything – really interesting heroes, politician (but not tiring ones) things, forced love, arranged marriage and plot with so much action inside!
It is ending with HEA and the best part of this is no cliffhanger! You can read the story of Ceacelia and Xenocrates right now and be totally safe of waiting for the next book.
