„Filthy Few” by Samantha Barrett
BLURB
Where they rest for eternal life is where a favor is asked.
The stone with the head is where you will be led.
Be certain of the favor you ask, no second is offered.
The debt will be collected when the favor is complete.
A favor asked is a debt owed.
My mom marrying Thomas Valerian was supposed to be our fresh start, but it was the opposite of that.
So far, I’ve been treated like my stepbrother’s new toy, taunted by his friends, and chased by masked men. The leader of the masked men breaks into my room at night, calls me his little witch while ravishing me. Something about him is familiar…
Now my mom has been taken and I’m in debt to the Filthy Few!
MY OPINON
After finishing the Sinners Welcome series, I picked up Filthy Few.
I saw it had over 400 pages and thought, “Woah, this will take forever.”
What a lie.
I have no idea how the time flew while I was reading this book.
It seems Samantha Barrett has my heart forever, because right now I want to read all her books!
Welcome to Hollow Hills.
Nova and her mother move to a new city because her mom married a new guy.
Being a newbie at high school isn’t exactly fun.
From the very beginning, Nova has a lot of problems with other students — but the worst of all is her stepbrother.
One day, she receives a mysterious message in an envelope about a favor and a debt.
She doesn’t want to get involved, but the situation changes in an instant, and Nova finally asks for help from four masked guys.
And that’s when the story truly begins.
If you aren’t afraid, welcome to Filthy Few!
If you have nothing to lose, just ask for a favor — but be ready for the debt.
Four masked men will come for you and take what they want, even if you don’t give permission.
Filthy Few is addictive reading.
At the beginning, the story seems fairly normal, but later… Samantha Barrett traps the reader in a spider web, and you cannot escape until she allows it. Seriously!
Meet the boys: Ezekiel, Archer, Vox, and Hayze — four men trying to uncover the truth.
Meet Vivian: Vox’s twin, determined to show her brother she doesn’t need protection.
Meet Nova: a girl whose whole life has been a lie.
Filthy Few is a book I need in paperback.
Right now, as I’m writing this review, I’m reading Forever Filthy — the second book in the series — and I can already tell you it’s even better!
If you like books with secret societies, dark mysteries, and, of course, masked men… this series is for you.
