BLURB
SOME
GIRLS HAVE ALL THE LUCK
Unfortunately,
I am not one of those girls. Not when I lost my apartment because my
roommate let the lease lapse while I was traveling for work. Not when
my brothers keep finding love and my mother keeps reminding me I’m
still single. Not after a one-night stand during my older brother’s
wedding has me waking up pregnant.
I
have to keep it a secret—from him, and my family. I sure can’t
tell my brother his teammate, Mateo Jose Espinoza, is the man I slept
with. Confident, funny, Mateo…
A
GUY CAN’T CATCH A BREAK
Just
when I thought I’d found the girl of my dreams, she ghosts me.
Worse? Her brother refuses to give me her number, and my calls to her
office go straight to voicemail. I thought I was a catch;
professional athlete, charming, raised with six sisters—I’m a guy
who knows his way to a woman’s heart! What reason could she
possibly have for avoiding me?
When
I finally catch up to True Wallace, I’m going to get the answer.
MY OPINION
What a fantastic story!
I was on hunger
of really good sport romance and then, on my Kindle arrived “Hard
Luck” written by Sara Ney – my personal first place in sports
romances.
So I read this book and it was pure pleasure to me!
One day True Wallace discovered that she is pregnant with... her brother's friend, which she slept on Buzz's wedding. She didn't know what to do with this fact, but she promised to herself that she won't say this to Mateo until she has to. Her promise is very hard to keep in secret, because her belly is growing week by week. How Mateo will react, when he meets the truth about True?
I adore this story! OMG! “Hard Luck” was the
best book, which I get in moment when I need a good sport romance.
Sara Ney knows how to write a fantastic story with charismatic heroes
in sports environment.
I was laughing trough half of this story.
The idea about secret pregnancy and avoidance the father of kid was
totally awesome!
The journey with True and Mateo is like a
really good coffee. In the beginning is a little bitter, in the
middle is curious about the end and in the end we have a full of
carmel and sweets. I was in this book from the first page and I've
read this story in a few hours.
Mateo is a perfect guy! Sexy,
handsome, simply normal and a little bit shy. He is so cute in his
fear of True, even though they slept together. It was a really good
idea with his sisters and lovely mom, who were giving him a lot of
tips about relationship.
In the other side we have ambitious,
clever and a little bit proud Ture, whose problem is slip-up on her
older brother wedding. She has Molly – Tripp's neighbor and her
brother. Truth about her changing body is hard to avoid, but she know
that finally she must do it. She must say the truth.
“Hard
Luck” is a forth book in Trophy Boyfriends series written by Sara
Ney. This story is like previous books in this series: funny, steamy
and interesting. “Hard Luck” is a good rom com, when you have a
bad day. Sara Ney again made me laugh and happy while I was reading
her book.
