BLURB
Can love survive amidst lies, schemes and subterfuge?
Zac, a man accustomed to getting what he wants, seeks retribution on behalf of the only father figure he's known, even though no one asked him to.
"I still can't believe how an ethereal being like Diane can be a plotting bitch. Why the old man held her in such a high regard, is beyond me. She is ungrateful and someone needs to teach her a thing or two. And I have the only right to do so."
Evidence and reports condemn the woman he purposefully set to 'teach a lesson', but the truth has a way of creeping out of the most unlikely corners.
"She looked at me in the eyes and told me, but I didn't believe her... She lay there with trust in her eyes and let me do that to her and more."
One mistake after the other and one fight too many bring them closer to the end.
All it takes is three little words to take down his whole house of cards.
Now Zac has to trust the only woman who had the tenacity to see beyond his scowls and cold behaviour and not because she was innocent all along.
“Her name is Diane. The woman who has made my heart beating."

MY OPINION
I was shocked when I started reading „Nothing More to Take” because this book happens in Greece. The names of heroes are a little American, but theirs surnames, and people around them are 100% Greek.
Diane is a young woman. When her Uncle dead, she inherited the bookshop which was all his life in Nafplio. The situation in her job are hard and finally one day Diane, betrayed by her best friend was demoted. This was the important step for her. She packed and go to Nafplio to see this bookshop and think what she will do in her life next.
Zac Dimas had Diane on his eyes a long time before he met her first time. He knows everything about this girl and he wants her as his girlfriend and more. When they finally met, Diane saw only handsome green- eyes man, but Zac saw his whole world in hers eyes.
On their first meeting Diane was scared and she don't want to see Zac again. But day by day when she saw him, her thoughts about this Greek God changed. And finally she wants him so badly like he wants her.
A lot of background of this story is given about Diane. I am a person who don't like so much a lot of descriptions, because when I am reading a book I want to imagine most things. Here, Demetra Georgiou didn't take me a chance to imagine and this is a big minus for me in this book.
„Nothing More to Take” was a good reading. This story is short, so when You will have three free hours you will read this book to the end. Love between Zac and Diane is tough, steamy and bitter. Chemistry between these heros is awesome. I felt all emotions when I was reading this.
Zac is an asshole, but I really liked him. Diane is a inexperienced and I have hope that she will grew up in the next book.
I can't wait to read the second book in this duet and see how Diane and Zac story will end.
