BLURB

With her heart literally in his hands, Celia will have to try and bargain with a devil.

Edward Fasbender is my captor.

Trapped on this island he owns everything on--including, it seems, me.

He told me he would break me, but I thought he meant in the bedroom. It turns out Edward is playing a completely different game.

And he won't stop until he's ruined me.

MY OPINION

When I ended the first book in 'Slay Quartet' series, I was in pain because the cliffhanger, which Laurelin Paige gave us in this story was soooo bad! Then the second book in series arrived on my Kindle and the time comes! Time to read Celia and Edward story again.

I won't be original, when I write that I love Laurelin Paige and her books.
I've read all of them and can't wait for more. Her every new book, which she writes is a big event for me, because I really like the heroes in her books and the situatons, that she throws her heroes at.
It isn't easy. Never.

In 'Slay: Ruin' Edward and Celia have a big deal. He wants her father's company, she is a lost woman in this man world. She wants to be loved. Truly loved. Only this. Edward wants a revenge, but in the end his plans were wrong. Celia will say him the truth about everything, but a lot of time has to pass to change Edward's view of this situation.
Celia spend time in this book on the island, where she gets bored every day, but sometimes Edward go to her and spend time with his young, new wife. The time, when Celia has his husband is stolen. He has buisness to run, but day by day he realised that Celia has his mind... and body.
He's hers or she belong to him?

I totally love this book! As I wrote in review of the first book, I really didn't like Celia. But now... when she tells us hers story, I really like her. Edward is a man, which was born for her. He is a devil in angel skin, but fortunetely Celia knows is. And she loves it too.

'Slay: Ruin' is the second book in series and I can't wait for the next book! Laurelin Paige has a talent to writes a good book with intriques and love. Here, we have a basket of emotions. We will cry and laugh. We will be angry and happy. This is a best story for Celia, which Laurelin Paige could writes for her. I highly recommend this series!
