BLURB

They call him the second coming.

Of honor for British football.
Of God in an athlete’s body.
Of every English woman’s fantasy.

Jude Davies is my country’s prodigy on the pitch. More famous than the nobility in Buckingham Palace, he and his merry band of scoundrels rule the Rogue Football Academy and the London nightlife scene alike.

And now, he’s aiming his well-honed set of skills directly at me. His devilish charm is lethal, but with the tragic hand life has dealt me, distractions like him aren’t an option.

Plus, we’re only playing a game. One of convenience, where he needs me to save his reputation, and I need his money to save the one person I love.

Until he wraps me around that immoral finger.
Until I crave that reckless, wild high he provides.
Until I hope for a future that will never happen.

That’s the thing about going toe-to-toe with the next football legend. He’s faster, stronger, and will destroy me every time.

MY OPINION

The Second Coming by Carrie Aarons is a New Adult sport romance.

This story is like a feather – light and lovable.
But not only that. In The Second Coming we have a real problems, which we can meet in real world.
Aria must earn money to keep yourself and her father who is ill on cancer, in normal level of live, but this is not easy to girl, which also must study. She is taking overtimes to earn extra money. Her father can't works and he doesn't have insurance which will cover healing costs.
Jude is a childlish boy whos have a lot of money, because he is really good in football. He spend a lot of pounds on stupid things, but in the heart he knows, how hard is to earn money and live on this brutal world.
They met in the changing room and when Aria need to leave, Jude offers her a deal.
Deal which can rescure her father.
And maybe give her a true love.

I really like this story and I spend nice time to read it, but I need more.
The Second Coming is a good book, but I need more action, more problems, more everything.
If you like a light and delicate stories, this book will be really good for You.
I like it too, but only like it.
